What Is Lucid Dreaming?
Lucid dreaming is when you “awaken” within your dream, but your body remains asleep. This means you become fully aware that you’re in a dream, and continue with the dream without waking up.
You’re able to guide your dreams in any way you wish, whether you want to fly through a beautiful mountain range, shoot into outer space and view Earth from above, or have sex with the most beautiful, amazing person/people you can imagine.
Not only does it feel as real as your normal, waking life, but often more real. All of your sensations and emotions are enhanced. It’s hard to believe and impossible to understand until you’ve experienced it personally.
You can do anything you can imagine, literally. Your imagination is the limit.
What Are the Benefits of Lucid Dreaming?
Not only is lucid dreaming fun and exciting, but you can gain real insight into your life and your purpose. I’ve had countless experiences during which I was given wonderful guidance and advice while I was “awake” within my dreams.
You can come up with new ideas and creations whether you’re a writer, artist, mechanic, or office worker. You can communicate with your subconscious, and in some cases, other entities. (Opinions vary as to whether these entities are parts of the dreamer’s mind or consciousnesses independent of them.)
Lucid dreaming is perhaps the most exciting and entertaining path of self-development.
Sometimes your lucid dream experiences will be so profound and beautiful that simply having acquired the memory of them will make your waking life significantly better.
